Why the name
NAMED BY VLAD.
In the Robinhood ecosystem, a dividend hunter is called a dividend hound.
Robinhood's CEO, Vlad Tenev, gave the name to its long-term investors who hunt recurring payouts. Not a product, not a tier: a pack. He has said it on stage, on X and on earnings calls, and Robinhood's own account says it too. Every pack needs a mascot.
Nobody had made the hound. So we did.

Robinhood's Johann Kerbrat announced that dividend benefits for Stock Tokens now apply on the ex-dividend date, not weeks later. Vlad Tenev quoted him and named them. The hounds went on-chain, and so did their mascot.
